Is cannabis legal in Spain?

The Spanish law says it is illegal to sell or buy marijuana, hashish, and other cannabis products. It is also forbidden to possess/store marijuana and/or its products and to consume marijuana in publicly accessible areas, in open view. But the Spanish law also states that it’s legal to grow 2 plants and consume cannabis in the private placement, but in a way that nobody sees you and it’s allowed to become a member of a cannabis social club (who some people would compare to a cannabis dispensary in the US or a coffeeshop in The Netherlands) and consume cannabis and its products within its walls.
